In short
Tintora is an AI preview service operated by STEE FREE LTD. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions that renew until you cancel, and you can cancel online in two clicks. Previews are illustrations, not quotes. Refunds are available within 14 days of any payment in proportion to unused previews. Scottish law applies, and your consumer rights where you live are unaffected.
01About these terms
These terms apply when you use Tintora at steefree.shop (the "Service"). Tintora is operated by STEE FREE LTD, a company registered in Scotland ("we", "us"). Our company number and registered office are listed on our Legal Information page.
You can contact us at support@steefree.shop or +44 7586610988. By creating an account, generating a preview or subscribing, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy and Content Licence.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
02What Tintora does
Tintora lets you upload a photo of a vehicle, blur its number plate in your browser, choose a wrap film finish and colour, and receive an AI-generated image showing the vehicle in that finish, with a side-by-side comparison and a PNG download. Tintora is a single-purpose digital service. We do not sell or install wrap film, and we do not provide quotes.
Previews are AI-generated illustrations. They are intended to help you choose a colour direction and do not show the exact result of a real installation. See our AI Notice.
03Who can use Tintora
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or buy a subscription.
- You must give accurate account information and keep your password secure. One account per person; accounts may not be shared or resold.
- If you use Tintora for a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf. Consumer-only rights described below apply to consumers.
04Plans, prices and allowances
| Plan | Price | Previews per month | Output |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | Free | 3 | Low resolution (1024 px), watermarked; personal use |
| Swatch | $6.49 per month | 40 | Standard resolution (1536 px); commercial use |

- Prices are shown in US dollars and include any VAT that applies. Your bank may charge a currency conversion fee.
- The Free plan does not require payment details.
- Each successful preview uses one preview from your monthly allowance. Previews that fail or cannot be delivered are not counted.
- Allowances reset on each billing date and unused previews do not carry over.
- Allowances are limits on use of the Service. They are not money, not stored value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred.
05Subscriptions, renewal and reminders
Paid plans are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically on the same day each month until you cancel. Before you pay, the subscription page shows the price, billing period, the date of your next payment, what you get and how to cancel.
- Payments are processed securely by our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card number.
- We send a confirmation email after you subscribe that sets out your plan, price, renewal date, how to cancel and the choices you made when subscribing.
- We send a reminder by email before your subscription first renews and at least every six months after that. Reminders are separate from any marketing and explain how to cancel.
- If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it for up to 7 days. If it still fails, your account moves to the Free plan.
- We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
These reminder and renewal arrangements follow the subscription contract rules in the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024. Those rules are not yet in force; we apply them voluntarily.
06Cancelling and your right to cancel
Cancelling a subscription at any time
You can cancel online at any time from Account → Manage subscription → Cancel subscription. You do not need to phone or email us. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and is then not renewed. Full details are in our Subscription & Cancellation policy.
Your 14-day right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers normally have 14 days from the day a contract is made to cancel it. Because previews are digital content supplied immediately, when you subscribe we ask you to (1) request that the Service starts straight away and (2) acknowledge that you will lose the statutory right to cancel once you generate a preview. We confirm those choices by email.
Separately and in addition, we give every paying customer a contractual refund window: if you cancel within 14 days of your first payment, or within 14 days of any renewal payment, we refund that payment in full if no previews were generated in that period, or in proportion to the unused part of that month's allowance if some were. See the Refund Policy.
07Your statutory rights for digital content
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. By "as described" we mean an AI-generated illustration of your vehicle in the chosen finish and colour, not a photograph of a real installation.
If a preview is faulty, for example it fails to download, is corrupted, or clearly ignores the finish or colour you chose, tell us and we will re-run it or restore the preview to your allowance. If we cannot fix the problem within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you may be entitled to a price reduction or refund. These rights cannot be excluded.
08Your photos and your previews
- You keep ownership of the photos you upload. You give us a limited licence to process them only to provide the Service, as described in the Content Licence.
- You may only upload photos you took or have permission to use. Photos must show vehicles; please crop out people.
- We never use your photos or previews to train AI models.
- Free plan previews may be used for personal, non-commercial purposes. Paid plan previews may also be used commercially, provided they are presented as AI-generated previews and not as photographs of a real finished vehicle.
- Vehicle designs, badges and trademarks that appear in your photo belong to their owners. A preview does not give you any rights in them.
09Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, you must not upload images of identity documents, invoices, certificates or medical records; photos where people are the subject; or other people's vehicles in order to identify or track them. You must not use previews to deceive anyone, for example by presenting one as a real photo in a vehicle sale listing. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.
10Availability and changes
We work to keep Tintora available but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted. We may carry out maintenance, and we may improve or change features. If we make a change that materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel and receive a proportionate refund for the unused part of your billing period.
We may update these terms. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of changes that affect you adversely.
11Suspension and closing your account
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or where we are required to by law. Where it is appropriate, we will tell you why first and give you a chance to respond. If we close a paid account without fault on your part, we will refund the unused part of your billing period.
You can close your account at any time from the Account page or by emailing us.
12Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable.
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your statutory rights. Decisions about buying film, booking an installation, insurance or vehicle registration are yours; a preview is not advice on any of those matters.
If you use Tintora for business purposes, we are not liable to you for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect loss, and our total liability to a business customer is limited to the amount it paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
13Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by the law of Scotland. You and we agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
Nothing in this clause removes any right you have to bring proceedings in the country where you live, or to rely on the mandatory consumer-protection rules of that country.
14Time limits for bringing a claim
Under the Prescription and Limitation (Scotland) Act 1973, a claim arising from these terms must generally be brought within five years. In England and Wales the equivalent period is six years.
This is the period in which you can bring a claim. It is not a warranty period, and it is not a limit on how long we are responsible for the Service.
15Complaints and consumer help
If something goes wrong, please contact us first at support@steefree.shop. We aim to reply within 1 business day and to resolve complaints within 14 days.
We are not part of an alternative dispute resolution scheme. If you are resident in Scotland and your claim is for £5,000 or less, you may be able to use Simple Procedure in the Sheriff Court, which is designed to be used without a solicitor.
If you live in Scotland, free advice is available from Advice Direct Scotland at consumeradvice.scot, funded by the Scottish Government. This service is available to Scottish residents only. Trading Standards Scotland is the national enforcement body. If you live outside Scotland, you can contact the consumer advice body in your own country. Wherever you live, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence continue to apply to you.
